Women making history

Send along your ideas for how GDRA can help strong women make stronger, safer, more just communities–we'll shout it out during Women's History Month!  Take a look at the Women Building Disaster Resilience Project notes and see whether, how and when you and your community might be a good fit.

On International Women's Day, March 8, reach out to women workers and women's unions about disaster resilience. How can we work together in workplace-based campaigns?

Link up with girls! Check out what this Girl Scout troop has done, with support from friends in EMPOWER: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEwwAJR_ilo.  Girls around the country are making a difference in their families, schools and neighborhoods. How can you hook up with them in your town?
