EMPOWER (Emergency Managers Professional Organization for Women’s Enrichment)
GROOTS (Grassroots Organizations Operating Together in Sisterhood) Check out the Community Resilience Fund active in the global South.
MS Foundation Strong supporters of grassroots women’s leadership before, during and after crisis events such as Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
NCNW (National Congress of Neighborhood Women) The NCNW is based in New York and partners with GROOTS International in the US.
Soroptimist International often supports women caught up in disasters.

US Agency for International Development, Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance has long been a strong supporter of the global Gender and Disaster Network, including sponsorship of multiple conferences and workshops in the area.

Urgent Action Fund Global organization based in the US in support for women’s human rights activists and timely response to women outside the US facing conflict and disaster.
Women Thrive Worldwide (formerly Women’s Edge) This US based initiative examines the implications for girls and women of US trade and foreign policy, including humanitarian crises.
